19/09/05 - Heaps and Heaps of shows coming up! You can check them all out on the "Upcoming Events" page. Make sure you come to a couple...or all!!
We've had to hault our stop drop and rock fest organizing while we wait to confirm a venue, but hopefully all will be sorted soon so we can annouce line ups and things!
Thanks to all the bands and people that have been so good helping out lately! Really appreciated that you're so keen.

23/07/05 - We have a show coming up on the 20th August at Edens Bar, have a look at the Upcoming Events Page for more info.
Also things are all go for Stop Drop and Rock Fest 05! We are just looking at confirming a venue at the moment , then will be onto announcing bands later in the year. So keep checking back to the website for more details. Or get along to one of our fundraiser shows for the festival, dates and venues for those will be put up on the upcoming events page. We will be holding these from late August through until end of October.

If the weather for the festival is anything like last years, then sunblock by the bucket loads..will be needed.

Well at the moment we dont have any confirmed shows coming up, taking a break to plan some more and get things sorted. Also plans for the Stop Drop and Rock Fest 05 are well under way so you should be getting news of that soon. :)
A few fundraising shows and that should be coming up in August/September.

We have a show coming up on the 11th June at Galatos basement in newton!
with The Rabble, 5th Threat, The Deadbeats, St Hildegard.

Only $5! and starts at 9pm! R18

i think some merch might be onsale at the show. if this is anything like the last galatos basement show we held, then fun times are in order.

As for Maiden Events news goes, we're going to take a bit of a break over July, just to get some finances in order and things, but come mid-late July should be well back into it again.

Bands to look out for in the future with Maiden Events are St Hildegard, Five Dollar Fee, The Rabble, Mission Gizzard, Incursa, The Chubby Young Virgins, SS Death Battalion, All Night Chemists, Agent 8, Task One and The Deadbeats.

Definately look fwd to working with these bands!

The Pure Evil Trio tour New Zealand brought to you by Underground Promotions and Pistol Meth Records

Australian noise hardcore three-piece The Pure Evil Trio hit both islands in March/April for a tour, fresh off supporting The Dillinger Escape Plan over in Aussie.
The tour dates are:

6/03/05 - Hey everyone, well good news and bad news. I spent a week up in Auckland and it was a damn cool week, but sadly Luc from St Hildegard had an accident and is now in hospital for the next 2 weeks or so. After having a nice midnight swing at the park, he came off and landed wrong and broke his hip, so is in a pretty bad condition. So that puts St Hildegard out of some of the upcoming gigs, but rest assured, they'll be using the time to toughen up some more and hopefully record!!
Maiden Events have confirmed some more dates for shows, but these wont be up until a bit later on when we confirm bands and things. Remember if you're looking for gigs, then please email maidenevents@homail.com we'd be keen to help out with tours or gigs or cd releases.
